Foundry Virtual BC provides virtual drop-in, scheduled counselling, peer support, and groups for young people between the ages of 12-24 and their caregivers. Co-created with and for youth, Foundry’s provincial virtual services are available through the Foundry BC app. Download the Foundry BC app through the Apple Store and Google Play stores or access the web portal using your existing web browser. And, if internet access is a barrier, we are able to provide support by phone at 1-833-FØUNDRY (1-833-308-6379). Foundry’s virtual services can be accessed however you are most comfortable, with chat, video, and audio options.

Foundry’s drop-in counselling services offer single sessions, focusing on a brief and specific goal using the solution-focused brief therapy approach (SFBT)*. This method of counselling offers any BC youth aged 12-24 access to a free 15-50 minute session without the need for an assessment or history. With this type of therapy, you can start a new session or work on the goals and concerns you discussed in an earlier session. Caregivers of BC youth are also able to access counselling in order to better support their youth and find local resources.

Services are available:

• PHONE SUPPORT - Monday–Sunday 1:15–7:15pm
• BOOKED APPOINTMENTS - Can be made up to 14 days in advance
• DROP-IN SERVICES - Monday–Thursday 2:00–6:00pm

Foundry’s virtual services are free. But if you call from a mobile phone, normal call charges may apply. To access the app, individuals are required to download the app, or access the web portal on their computer/laptop device.
